smolvm is a fast microVM sandbox for untrusted Python and JavaScript code. Simon Willison tested it with Claude Code, hit nested-virt limits in web containers, and ran a full test battery on GitHub Actions KVM runners. It shows promise for safely executing AI-generated data transformations.
