Apple is developing an enterprise AI server powered by its M8 Ultra chips. The design may use two or four M8 Ultra processors and could launch no earlier than 2029, with Nvidia’s NVLink Fusion technology considered for inter‑chip connectivity. The project may be accelerated by OpenAI and Anthropic, which already purchase Mac hardware in bulk for AI workloads.
